Responsibilities

Initially, the focus of the job will be on Eribel (www.eribel.com), our business unit specializing in the development, production and installation of technical interior joinery.

We distinguish a number of major task areas:

Analysis, correction and editing of contracts 

• Legal support to the sales team in the conclusion of subcontracts: reviewing contract proposals, identifying contractual and legal risks, mitigating risks by making improvements, advising the sales team on all contract-related questions. 
• Assist in drafting a wide range of contracts and agreements: NDA’s, contracting agreements, collaboration agreements, subcontracts, leases, etc. 

Handling disputes

• Collecting relevant facts and documents of claims (together with project team), passing files to insurance broker and following them up. 
• Support the project team in legal disputes: assist in drafting and responding to formal notices, validation of legal files together with project managers.
• Compilation of legal files for handover to external lawyers and their further follow-up. 

Document management

• Co-manage and structure legal documents at both group and project level.
• Setting up and expanding the internal models library.

General support to our teams for all their legal questions

• Helping resolve the day-to-day varied legal questions from our various teams and support services (HR, procurement, finance, etc.).

Experience  

• Master's degree in law
• Experience is not a requirement
• Affinity with construction (law) is a strong plus
• Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a fast-changing environment
